Cheer & Dance Express prides itself not only on developing talented cheerleaders and dancers, but by emphasizing the importance of being a good person in all areas of their lives. We feel it is important for our students to excel in their school work,
sports, music lessons, and all other extra curricular activities. We also teach our older students to be positive role models for our younger students. Respect is very important at Cheer & Dance Express. We teach our students the importance of respecting their instructors, teammates, opposing teams, and themselves. The staff at Cheer & Dance Express make it a goal to help our students reach their full potential, gain confidence, and self-discipline, all in a fun and safe environment.
The competition teams at Cheer & Dance Express have won numerous awards at competitions in the Midwest, including Grand Dance Champion and You
th Cheer Grand Champion at Cheer Extreme Competition as well as Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4, Grand Champions at COA Cornhusker Blast and 2008 & 2009 COA Junior Level 3 National Champions along with 6 other National Titles in 2009 and 11 National Championship titles in 2010! Not only do our students enjoy competing, but they love to go out and perform whenever they have the chance. Our dancers and cheerleaders have performed in a half time show for the Kansas City Chiefs Football Team. They were guest cheerleaders and the half time entertainment for Wesleyan University. They also perform at many school festivals in the Lincoln Area. Our students perform annually at the Bryan-LGH Health Fair and the East Park Plaza Kids Fest. Our cheerleaders volunteered and performed at the Buddy Walk: A Benefit for Down Syndrome. Lastly, our dancers and cheerleaders have had the opportunity multiple times to perform at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando. In March of 2010 we traveled to Florida to compete at Nationals in Daytona Beach where we won 9 National Championship titles. Then our students spent 3 days at Disney World in Orlando where they performed at Downtown Disney. With over 115 performers were became the largest group to ever perform for the Disney Magic Music Days Program!
In the summer of 2010, our cheerleaders had the opportunity to perform at numerous events for the 2010 National Special Olympics Games! They performed at the Pep Rally for the torch run, the rhythmic gymnastics events and some students actually competed in the Olympics!
